Default New rims help!

Haven't had to buy used wheels for a car before as I've always just gone directly through a tire store...which leads me to my question.

Current factory rims have a positive offset of 45 -55 mm. Ones I've found (same bolt pattern) have a positive offset of 34 - 50 mm.

I don't think this is an issue as it's pretty close...but any tire experts out there have an opinion??

Thanks for your help!

Which vehicle will these be installed on? What size of tire will be installed on the rims?

Not a huge difference in offset but some vehicles don't allow for much change before rubbing begins to occur.

They used tires came off of a Mazda RX8. 205/55R16. Bolt pattern is 5x114.3

Hoping to put them on my wifes car: Mazda 3. 205/55R16. Bolt pattern is 5x114.3

Thanks again.

Check for caliper clearance as well. And as mentioned, no way to know for certain until you try 'me on and assess full wheel travel and turn for component rub. Sounds like a very minimal difference though, I'd be hopeful and try.
