elk hitting the farm fields yet ??

hey every one hope you are all having a better season than I am haven't had much time to hunt at all with my cross shift quiting I have had to work right threw!!! any how I have permission for lots of private land east of Grande prairie so wondering if anyone knows if the elk are grouping up and hitting the fields yet?? are the white tails up there rutting yet ?? im heading up for the weekend first time hunting farm land

I am heading up this weekend as well. Family has said that the elk are out on the feed but mainly after dark. The cold weather for this weekend will most likely have them out longer so hopefully will be during legal time.
