Default first kill with a bow

today was a day off for me and my brother so we decided to head out with our stick shooters. got permision from a ranch that i used to work at just to futz around their brush. we only had a couple hours before dark so we walked by a few grain bins and some old torn down pivots. and right away bush bunnies everywhere. my brother went for one right away but missed as the rabbit moved just as he was about to release. so i chased him down a bit and he did the same thing to me and i blew up a carbon arrow when it impacted on a steel. walked around some more and i saw one about 15 yards away so i took him perfect shot. we headed up to our good friends house and i learned how to skin and we ate the two back steaks. good eatin i might add. unfortunately my brother didnt get one cus after i took the first one there was none to be found and it got dark almost instantly. i hope im not boring anyone with a rabbit kill but im pretty proud of myself, my frist kill with a bow. now im hooked. we saw a few nice white tails earlier in our hunt and boy were we tempted. cant wait for next year.
