It used to be. Not anymore. Where I am there is no store, gas station, hospital, Rcmp, service of any kind and my taxes are over $4000.00.
Far cheaper in the cities.

Where I am there is a bar but no stores, hostpitals, gas, rcmp....(ferintosh) taxes are 710.00. House, garage, partially fenced. Had a similar place in Camrose. Taxes were 4 times that.
