Default Renewing PAL online

Gotta renew by August 8, and noticed you can do it online vs paper in the mail. Any real advantages besides the time spent in the mail?

Feed back has been ok with the online process.

It appears to work from people who have used it.

Pretty sure it's about the same $90 it cost u 5 years ago. Not a bad price considering the fines/jail time faced for not renewing

If you answer "yes" to any of the personal questions, it will be delayed. I know, I did. Mine expired May 11. Did everything on line and as soon as I got the notice mid Feb. Its been over 3 months now. Called CFC - that's what they told me. It is now up to the CFO for Alberta. Not sure what that means. Guess I will try to contact them. I mean really - how damn long can it really take??

Long enough to make you a federal felon

Only a felon if you have anything in your possession!

I guess $90 is okay. I don't consider it a deal, having to pay more money to the governor just so I can possess something they've already licensed me to own

Just think of what it would be like, if the Libs or NDP were in power.

Just sayin',

If I remember correctly, the renewal notice says something about NO CHANGES, to use the online application.
