Honestly one of my favourite is the Kraft kit and add toppings. That’s all we ever had as a kid living in a small town 70’s and 80’s with no pizza joints.

Always looking for new restaurants to try out. What style of pie do they serve, thin crust, medium, thick and topping style _ heavy on the sauce, cheese and topping or more Neapolitan style?

P.S. Found it along with pictures. Medium crust, heavy toppings. Toefield actually looks to have 2 or 3 pizza and Donair places worth checking out.

Had to make a stop in tofield last night so I ordered a couple Tilleys "pies" to sample. Very very good pizzas, priced fair and had that wood oven taste to them. We will definitely be back. Place was pretty busy, good to see a small town restaurant getting support after the covid shutdowns. Tough racket to be in with food prices going thru the roof.

Drove into Tofield after hitting the gun range out there and went into Telleys.
Was greeted by a very friendly waitress. And ordered one of there famous pizzas . Had a lot of toppings and cheese which you don't see to often .
The cheese was burnt a little on top which we did not like . Not sure if they always do it that way or the cook had the oven to hot that day .
Will return again some day and see if the next one is better .
8/10 on this one .

I don't know what's up with Royal Pizza. It gives me heartburn like a son of a b!tch. The only way I'll touch Royal Pizza is if they have Rolaids on the appetizer list.

That’s by far our favourite right now. They also make calzones, an awesome burata salad and a few other things that are delicious.
Where can I get a good Mockba Pizza in Edmonton?

Great recommendation. Place is a little out of the way off Churchhill Drive in St Albert but google maps does the trick. Place is mostly take out but does have a couple of tables outside plus a standup bar inside. Has been open about 3 months. Started up by a guy that grew up in Windsor Ont, who's parents were in the pizza business. He moved west 25 years ago and worked the patch as a pipe fitter. Never planned to go into the family business but with the downturn in pay and perks decided to get out of the patch and open this place.

Guy knows a ton about good versus bad pizza. They make Detroit, New York and Tavern style thin crust Chicago. I tried the New York and it comes in one size, 14 inch. Absolutely excellent crust. Crispy and chewy at the same time. Good sauce and quality toppings. Pro tip, do not add salt before trying the pizza. It is perfectly salted as served. They only make the pizza listed, they don't do custom as it is too hard to train the staff and ensure consistent top quality results. This guy is fantatical about great quality take out pizza
If the Foccia crust Detroit is close to as good as the New Yojk it too will be great.

Well worth a visit.

Sorry gang, but I’m pulling out of the tasting race. Been sick since Monday (typical flu symptoms) and tested + for the Vid yesterday. Thought not much of it but today my sense of smell and taste completely disappeared. I’ve heard some cases being a year to recover it.
On the bright side, with no taste senses, I can pass off Little Caesars as a Royal, and wash it down with Lucky instead of Stella.
What a windfall

Glass half-full attitude. Good on ya.

My brother was 6 months getting his smell/taste back. It came slowly. He had 0 taste for about 5-6 weeks.

I'm no help with regards to Edmonton recommendations but can definitely speak for 2 Guys down in Lethbridge. They are fantastic, if you like a bit of a more specialty pie.

Took 2 weeks for my wife to get her smell and taste back 100%. On the other side, my buddy still can’t eat eggs because they taste like chemicals to him after he had Covid 2 years ago….
