Default 35 Whelan, Bolt or Single Shot? Where?

So had one before and I keep dreaming again about a 35 whelan. The funny thing is I keep seeing many affordable single shot rifles out on the Market. Would you forgo the bolt and use a single??? Does anyone have any experiences with the HR? or the CV arms? I have a great load for my old bolt action ready to go. Where would you purchase one in Alberta?

I had mine built on a stainless m70 crf action. Its classic cartridge and needs to be housed in a bolt action I think.

I'd go single shot because I've always liked them.

Bolt would be more practical i guess

Keep your eyes peeled on the EEs here and CGN. I'd wait for a Rem700 Classic, but lots of options! It'd be a bolt for me.....

Unless I could find s Ruger or a Browning single shot for a fire sale price I would be tempted to put it into a Santa Barbars action with s nice Sile Stock.
In other words, Parker Hale Safari 1200 deluxe!

Bolt all the way! The Whelan was born in a bolt action.
Mine is in an older Ruger 77 tang safety.

Haven't got it yet, also don't reload yet but now that I've got a whelen I'll pick up pieces of equipment here and there until I have everything I need.

My hobbies are spawning too many support hobbies, tying flies, building rods, casting lead round ball....
