I have reloaded them for my 270 win and 7 mm mag and I got to say I love them and love how they stay together and go either through the animal or if they do get stuck I them at least they stay together and not take out a bunch of other things in the process.
I had one in the loin of one of my deer this year and it dropped him right on the spot. A frontal shot. Disintegrated the heart and ended up in the loins around the middle of the back.!
I also like how I can get 1/2 inch groupings with them on both of my rifles.
Good bullets and accurate in both of my rifles! What more could I ask for

The only reason Kirk505 lost that big buck
can't be blamed on bullet type, nor, I believe,
his shot placement.

And he clearly owned up to it.

It was the failure, when seeing your game drop,
to reload and walk toward it with thumb on safety.

This is not the time for hi-fives all around,
or taking a 20 minute walk in the opposite direction.

Much to be said for staying in the game, 'til you KNOW it's a done deal. Gotten bit myself once, wasn't the biggest deer of my life but it was still awful.

I can take or leave Barnes bullets...I've done some killing with them (168 TSX .30-06) and if what a person wants is a bullet to be able to angle from a shoulder to a hip on an elk or a moose than you'll probably not find any better. Through the rib cage on deer didn't seem to churn the insides up quite the way I like but in hindsight that particular bullet was probably moving too slow to show those type of results....I'm thinking I may try a 130 TSX/TTSX from a .30-06 to see how they do...
