Rosebud Range

Hey all,

I've been thinking about joining this range (though I hear there is a waiting list) and am just wondering what the road is like? I've heard its a pretty rough road and I drive a car so just wondering if its really bad or is it just your run of the mill gravel road?

Most times of the year I would say it is just your run of the mill gravel road. Although that may change with lots of moisture. Looks like a nice range, too bad it wasn't closer, it is a bit of a haul out to it.

Only problem I've had with the road is in the winter. Couple of really steep big hills go take and if it's icy isn't much fun.

only problem I see, is that Rosebud probably won't let you join

Well maintained even in winter. Check with APRA , the full bore and service rifle guys are taking members last time I checked. They're also at the Homestead facility, but long range stuff.
