Default Crawling Valley; UPDATE??

Does anyone have a recent update?

My most recent trip out was about a month ago and the action was slowing down, probably from the high temperatures.

I am looking to come out tomorrow and was wondering how it is;
weeds?
algae?
levels?

Thanks for your time....

Default Crawling Valley Reservoir update

Was out last Monday on a cold front so the fishing was real slow compared to days prior when the weather was stable and hot.8 hours of fishing between 2 of us we had landed 9 Walleye,7 Pike and lost at least that many at or near boat as they where not taking in the hook just hanging on.Water level was a touch lower than normal but no issues. Good luck

I agree the fishing had slowed a bit but we still caught quite a few walleye bottom bouncing and several pike trolling cranks. The walleye seem to have moved a bit shallower than they were during the heat of summer and this makes sense as the surface temp has dropped from about 21 to about 12.
