Northern Fishing Trip
Myself and my Dad are looking at doing a northern fishing trip in BC, AB, or SK. Can anyone reccomend a fly in trip thats 3-4 days long. Doesnt necessarily have to be fly in, but was looking for a guided trip. Probably around June. Thanks in advance for the help!

You could try here: http://tazinlake.com/ (Northern Saskatchewan)
Saw this featured on a fishing show around a month ago, the pike and lake trout they pulled out of there were the size of dinosaurs lol.

Enjoy!

Be sure to check out Andrew Lake lodge. Dan runs a great operation
I have been up there the last two years and will testify to the quality of the fishery.

Cree doesn't hold a candle to Tazin or Wollaston.

Have a look at Arctic Lodges.

Drive to Southend, and they will pick you up.

As for guided im not sure but we ve been going to mirond lake "newmart" fishing resort for 15 years running. Its also budget friendly. Located right by pelican narrows saskatchewan. They have a website.
Good luck!

Indian Head on lake Athabasca if it still being operated. You'll quite likely catch a Laker of a lifetime and its beautiful country up there. You will fly over the Atha B Sand Dunes which is an experience of it's own.
There are a few other lodges up there I believe. Don't know the other lodges all that well.

Thompson Camps on Otter Lake in the Hamlet of Missinippe Sk about 1hr north of Laronge is great! You can book their cabins, rent their boats and get a guide to fish Otter lake itself, which has fantastic Walleye and Pike action along with others, but the nice thing is the camp is also the base for fly out trips to many fly in only lakes which you can book right at the lodge, and the prices are really decent. We have been going up there for years and are never disappointed! Check them out!

Wollaston Lake Lodge - Hands down one of the best (if not the best) freshwater fishing outfits in the country.

There are literally hundreds of lodges that would suit your purpose it all more or less comes down to budget and how far you want to drive to fly out or drive out typically a guided fly-in fishing trip per day is anywhere from 5 hundred to $1,000 a day per person there's obviously cheaper places but the quality lodges with the quality fishing that's what it's going to run you good luck if you need any more info I ran lodges in Northern Saskatchewan Manitoba Northwest Territories for 20 years

We too fly out of Pelican Narrows to one of several remote lodges,. No guide, but you don’t need one if you can cast a spoon and run an outboard.
