Default HEY, what happened to the thread....

What happened to the Russian guy from Sask's post where he shot 5 deer in one day?
Did it get shut down? I read the first few posts and never got to see what it was all about?

They give out dep tags to farmers who complain about deer problems. Some guys may get a dozen.

really? i have family in sask with huge farmland... they have lots of deer and antelope problems! I wonder if they know about this opportunity.

These tags are hard to get. They are up to the discretion of the CO. If they say no, ask again in 2 days. repeat until they give up and hand them to you. First they will likely try offer every other bandaid solution and then try to hunt them themselves.

Just speaking form experience.

Around here they give them to farmers to pass out. When a landowner complains about deer they give him a dozen tags and he gives them out. They do the same for elk around Moose Mountain Park.

k, just askin because my gfs family complain about them steak goats the same way farmers here complain about elk. Apparently they have hundreds pronghorns come tear up their bales somethin fierce.
