Default Broad head practise

I tried some broad heads wish I took pics! I found some old muzzy 100 grain 3 blade from years ago! Tested against montec carbon 100 grain and 3 blade 100 grain rage and muzzy grouped best and out penetrated the other two still unsure about rage as I had one ball up go into my elk 1" at 15 yards muzzy were the only one I had to move sight to zero but grouped amazing

Default Rage

Funny I read this a good acquaintance of mine and great successful bow hunter I know shot a giant bull elk last fall and ended up never finding it.said if he walked up an stuck the arrow in it by hand that's where his shot was.bull took off with half the arrow stickin out an hosed blood.bled for 100 yrds then down to pin drops.his partner that was with him said as his arrow hit that he had a bull of a life time dead..(also very experienced bowhunters)..we looked an followed blood for two days till we lost it for good an they looked for another 3 days for birds or anything.nothing...that was with a rage expandable....

I think every guy has an opinion on which broadhead is the best an what not.i shot my monster black bear yrs ago with litl dinky 100 grain nitros.an 4 more nice bears since him.tore that bears lungs all to hell so I think ill just stick with fixed blade head.gona pick up either wasps or muzzys an give them a try.got a huge whitey ive been tryin to get for awhile so I'm goin all out to try an kill that deer this opener..

This is exactly why I will never hunt with an expandable broadhead.

I've only used the rage for mechanical and always seem to go back to thunderhead and muzzy they always do the trick!
