eyes would not appear red in an albino fish because they are different than mammals.

Not true nekred, there is no factor in determining albinism that asks whether it is a fish, mammal, reptile....etc. It is a gene mutation that effects the ability to produce specific amino acids (in most cases) and has no prejudice whether you swim with the fishes or fly with the birds. Google (true) albino photos and you will see red eyes in pretty much every case.

Good Luck if you took your perch to Clarence Kriaski. He ruined my rainbow trout and insists he is going to replace with a replica. It has been 7 years now! I stop in to see him a couple times a year and have asked for a refund of my deposit with no action. My Brother in law took 2 perch in to him that were very close to the 2lb mark and Clarence completed them and tried to give him back 2 perch that were approximately 3/4 of a pound. Clarence claimed shrinkage but we know he either kept or sold the real 2lb perch.
