Rifle stock refinishing
Good Evening All,
I am wondering if anyone can recommend someone to refinish a high grade rifle stock in an oil finish. Not interested in doing this one myself.

Gary Flach in BC. He stocks many high end rifles like the Hagn single shot, but also does some refinishing.

If you have a fine rifle i would sudjest someone else. There are many that specialize in stock work for fine guns. Bob is not one of them

Helped guide me into refinishing my own rifle stock, but I've seen some of his work. Highly recommend

Dennis Davidson
Fort St John gets my vote for high end wood and he will even make the stock or custom fit the blank you have. His skip line checkering is great and I felt quite reasonably priced.

Dennis Davidson did the checkering on my custom gun and his work was fast, and impeccable

Any updates on recommendations?
Curious who you guys would recommend to refinish a laminated stock on a custom rifle? Do not think this is something we should attempt ourselves, as we wish to sell it, and thought maybe refinishing would add value, not that we have any idea of value right now. What can one expect to pay??
We are in Pincher Creek, so prefer SW Alberta if possible. Thanks!
