There a thread in the firearms section but this is sure worthy of cross posting. Last night I got 4 friends to sign by sharing the petition through Facebook PM’s; a few had already signed but I managed to get 4 to confirm that they participated from my politely requesting them to. I challenge everyone to follow suit, if we share this outside of the firearm forums it will reach much wider audience. I chose to use PMs as I figured it’s much more likely to garner their attention than a FB share that they might simply scroll past.

Those are still rookie numbers. Has everyone asked their spouse sign it as well? Call your hunting or shooting friends. Text the link to those in your contact list who might be prone to signing it.

I read on another forum that up to 40,000 haven't confirmed their email. No idea if that is true or not. Everyone that has signed, please make sure to go to your email and confirm your signature.

Also, check the junk/spam mail. Many times the confirmation e-mail will get filtered to junk/spam.

Less than 5 days left people if you haven't hit it yet now is the time, if there is to be any hope for hunting and recreational shooting in the future. https://petitions.ourcommons.ca/en/Petition/Details...

Like other petitions that are brought up will it actually do anything? Go anywhere? Make a difference? They will just re-word it and carry on. Trurdope government would rather support other aggressive countries with our money than help his own and leave law abiding citizen alone.

I expect most previous gov'ts would give it some consideration, but, as with most things that this gov't doesn't like, it will turn a blind eye to it, however, it is out there in the public eye for people to take note of. Pretty obvious what their attitude is, by way of watching the proceedings of tha past week on the blockades.

This petition is so Big (~175K signatures), they'll have to take notice.

And you can bet the Conservatives in Parliament will make a Big Deal about it too ❗
