Really?? Against hunting.
I dont seem to have any problems getting permission. Maybe because I access on foot and if I harvest an animal, I will get permission from the landowner to drive with a truck or quad into their field to retrive it, and maybe they will show me where to access their field and drive.
If I'm refused hunting its because others have gained access already. No big deal.
As for driving in fields, I think a majority of landowners in Alberta have had issues with this. I seen it lots. I have been sitting on the edges watching game and all of a sudden a truck drives in. Gotten a few license plates and reported it to the land owners. This weeds out the truck jockeys-trespassers.
Hey I'm not totally against truck jockeys.....just the ones that shoot where they want and trespass - maybe I was set up in a field and either wrecked my hunt or been in a situation of in the line of fire
, or being scoped because they are too lazy use or cant afford binos.
As for the F&W officers, you guys must of given them an excuse to write you a ticket / fine. I never had any problems.
As for the elk, on the community pasture-there are a few herds but lots of people in there now from what I have heard the past few weeks.
