I have had great results with mine. The picture quality is good and they are on sale for 379 all over. Yes there are better quality cameras out there but for that price you can’t go wrong. The battery lasts a long time as well.

Decent basic camera. I have had mine for several years. Make sure you get a Mopod with as well or you will be disappointed.

Great tool, I love mine. Built a poor man's mopod......took a board that'll fit over an ice hole, cut a slot from the side into the middle that holds the cord so the camera won't spin. Put 3 nails on both sides of the slot to help hold the cord once you've found your desired camera position. Insert the cord into the slot, spin it until you find the view you like, then weave the cord through the nails to hold the camera position.

Can't spin it from your chair, but it does the trick

Been there done that years ago but find motorized is way better. I can just press the for and it rotates around. You would be surprised how much more is out there besides the direction of your bait. One of the better 80 bucks you will spend.

I am happy with mine too. Got the older model 710 and it was ok but over about 30' it would fade out. The 715 works up to 50' at Slave, which is how long the cable is. Best bang for the buck around $350

No. The camera doesn’t send a sonar signal, so no interference with anything.

So i had this camera out today and it was kind of cloudy/ grainy.

Didnt think much of it but the old blue aqua was showing better quality.

So when i got home i was looking at the camera a bit and i noticed there was still a small tear off translucent shipping/protector circle over the lens.

I guess i shall see the improvement next time i am out. Thought i would share this small mistake could turn one off a newpurchase and not use it.

I have heard others complain on the quality either here or on the other groups.

True story... Exact same thing happened to us. Never even noticed it when we first used it. It does indeed make a difference...
