Default Tikka T1X Range Review - 22 LR

Had my T1X out for some exercise this morning
Stock T1X with trigger adjusted to 2 lbs. Mounted a cheap Sightron 4X12 scope that I picked up for $300. Used some cheap chinese rings that cost $13.
Didn't do any ammo testing. Just grabbed some 1970's vintage Eley Tenex that I have taking up space. Yes - 45 year old ammo.

All shots at 100 m. 2 sighters sent on right side of target to get dialed in.

Group #1 - 0.716

Group #2 - 1.580 - wind gust caught me sleeping.

Group #3 - 0.545

Group #4 - 0.635

Group #5 - 1.387 - poor trigger control on my part.

All in all its a shooter. I am impressed.

Wow, we need to start a battle of the 100m 22s.

Great shooting from a mid range and all purpose rig.

Very impressive, great accuracy for a reasonable price.

Nice. What's better is I'm seeing some leftys starting to roll out. I know where I can get one in .17 hmr, but I'm afraid that would make my 452 jealous.

Man that is some fine shooting from a wicked accurate rifle. Looks like you got a real gooder on your hands! Congrats.

Although it shoots well the factory stock is simply atrocious for any kind of range work.

I’ve have the same gun with a 3X9 Leupold on it. It’s very accurate too. Awesome little .22
