Default SK Longe Range 22lr Review

With the warm weather, I finally got to try the SK Long Range at 100m. The first five shot group went .460", and the second .620". I am very impressed with these loads.

I love it when a .22 shoots better groups than most centre fires can...
Nice work!

Good shooting Elk, some credit to the Vudoo as well.

Where’s Kurt, lol. He should like this.

I just ordered several bricks of various Sk to test in my 22’s as well, and yes I’ve been waiting for warmer weather. Hopefully this weekend.

I have shot the rifle in question, and the Anschutz which Elk had before this Vudoo. Let me say this. While not cheap, if a person wants to develop their shooting abilities, and have an incredibly accurate rifle without the sonic boom of the latest greatest braked centerfire, this is the way to go. It is a truly precision rifle.

And that is why I actually prefer the Vudoo over the Anschutz, while accuracy is fairly close, the Vudoo closely resembles my big game rifles in weight, stock design, and trigger. Even though the rifle was not cheap, it provides excellent practise, and over thousands of rounds, the cheaper ammunition more than makes up the cost difference of shooting a centerfire. And it doesn't heat up like a centerfire,so it's great to shoot while the barrels on my centerfires cool.

I manage to get a brick of this ammo and have been waiting for warmer weather and our range repairs to finish. The waiting is painful. Lol.
