Default Chain Lake - Athabasca

Hey All!

I'm planning on heading up to Lower Chain this weekend with my son. I haven't seen many posts on here or on FB in regards to how the fishing has been. Is anyone able to provide an update? You can PM me if you don't want to share publicly.

Thanks!!!

Default Chain

Been up there a few times this winter season , last time was on Feb 20th. A few decent rainbows caught and several observed on the camera as well as a couple of tigers ghosting by. We were fishing in about 7 feet of water. it's getting more popular but it's stationary ice fishing so who cares.

Thanks for the info! Not surprised there's lots of activity, most lakes are a zoo these days. Have to get away from the crowds. That's why I figured I would head up that way instead of somewhere closer to Edmonton. Appreciate the help!
