So ya with those numbers the trade was a plus as Neal not - and not costing the Oilers a chance for a comeback

Just saw the replay on lucic running Smith. Real classy...but that's not his first time. I'd like to say punt him for a couple games, but better for the oilers if he's on the ice. Think he's feeling the frustration that the game has passed him by.

Oilers confidence increases by the period. Still many periods left. Next game will be pivotal. Calgary won’t be holding anything back. Better protect Mcdavid……..it could get ugly. I’d like to see us go for a good goaltender next year.
Someone like Markstrom.
Mike Smith deserves a better back up goalie behind him.
With “Marky” as our number 2 we could breathe a sigh of relief.

Obviously, things have gone our way the last two games, but man I am just savouring a Battle of Alberta again. Terms are very competitive, and neither have flunked it off to get here.

I actually think that if your team is even competitive in round 2, unless you are a heavy Stanley Cup favourite, the fan base should be happy with the season. That’s the parity in this league, really every sports league. Every team playing right now could beat any other team if the cookie crumbles their way.

I'm not even mad at Looch, it's all I expect out of the goon. To be fair he DID hold back, and he did NOT charge him, lets not blow that out of proportion. But still a bonehead play, by a total bonehead player.

I hope he DOESN'T get suspended, The Oilers are better off with him on the ice!

'Ol stone hands now has feet of stone too. Man is he slow, especially when you see these speedy Oilers whipping past him like he's just standing still.(when he's not standing still)

Again to be fair it would be hard for anyone to keep up with that top line, holy cow are they ever FAST! What a fun team to watch, 97 and Kane are both possessed. They are on another level right now rarely seen. We are witnessing greatness. You can see how relaxed they are and how much fun they're having out there, they are dialed in.

Sure wish there was a way to sign Kane next year but it's just not gonna happen. Heard some rumors there are a few teams that are going to throw the big bucks his way this summer with long term contracts too, he's gonzo after this run. Sure hope I'm wrong but it doesn't look good.

Hopefully the Oil have shedded that Jekyll & Hyde nonsense, man is that ever frustrating. They seem to be getting better every game.

Been a fun ride so far, albeit a little frusterating at times, keep the hammer down boy's and step on their necks!
