It would be great if you could by Cajun crayfish, in a quick-frozen vacuum pack, like you can now get mussels. Sure would be a treat!

We used to buy them. Maybe Neptune seafood has them.

Not to derail but how do those mussels taste ,I never tried them frozen

Yeah him and his sons are on Swamp People. Definitely not as poor as he portrays on the show.

Default Gumbo

have friends in Louisiana i used to meet in Ocean City Maryland for carving championships. they made a kettle of gumbo each Saturday night and invited us all for bowls on rice. I could move to Louisiana just for the seafood if I didnt hate snakes and gators in the swamp while hunting my dogs.
