Default Another "different" build

this one's an ultralight switch rod. 12' 3wt (I know it's a little odd)

Just have the handle assembly done right now. Angler's roost blank and angler's roost reel seat/fighting butt.

You actually made that?!
Incredible. Beautiful work!

I didn't even know people made their own rods.

I didn't turn the burl or the cork, though I have turned cork before.

If anyone has a small tabletop lathe for a good price let me know

Big pawn shop on gatez south bound has such a lathe.. Dont think I would fish with a rod that hansome . 12' 3wt sounds like a stunning float tube rod . Great workmanship.

Looks great. Should be fun to fish.
My buddy used his Sage One 11ft, 4wt Switch for Steelhead this fall. It is an awesome rod to fish with.
3wt sounds just right for the Bow
