Default Gitnadoix

Good afternoon -

I am looking for some information on the Gitnadoix River - to be clear, I am inquiring about the river itself, particularly the challenges associated with running a jet on the lower end. I have fished extensively over the past 15 years on the bulkley/morice, kispiox, babine and most tributaries of the lower skeena but have never headed up the gitnadoix and am planning on heading out at easter (hopefully).

I have heard from some that it is an easy trip, and others deem it reckless to boat?

Any information and/or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Default river

We use to go up that river lots when I lived and guided in Terrace. It's not to bad going up, a few tight areas and a few big rocks to watch for. Coming down is a little more challenging. Awesome when you get to the top and into the lake, beautiful waterfall comes right into the lake and can boat right to it. Coho in the fall are awesome and cutties in the spring are a blast.
