I think you might want to look up the Swiss gun laws and history. They definitely have/had a gun culture.

If the situation warranted to where someone could take out some nutbar with a rifle or ball bat or a bloody truck for that matter because that nutbar was killing my neighbours or their kids , you bet .
I would not wait around for the police either ......

So youre saying that Switzerland having a strong militia, that was able to mobilize quickly, had no effect on Hitlers decision not to invade?

So the militia having every man issued a rifle to keep in their home did have an impact on whether Switzerland was invaded or not? Im not sure what your getting at with your previous comment?

I'd suspect the mountains ... or banks had more to do with it. Awful lot of collusion going on there by the end of the war.
