Terrible tragedy, RIP. No one gets up in the morning and expects to die on the job that day.

To kill a police officer over a stolen car, one demented mind. Poor family of the Police officer.

Sending my condolences to his family. Lest we forget about the many officers who have dedicated them selves to keep the madness off our streets. Respect.

Default Tragic

Another senseless death of good man by a useless P.O.S. who like most cockroaches unfortunately survived. My utmost condolences to the family and friends. Gone but not forgotten

Sad to hear...as A fella who has 1 city police person and 1 RCMP person in the family..this scares me a lot...my prayers to the family, wish we were not in the times we are...it seems everybody is a target and that sucks...another entire family devestated and for what.

It's sad to lose any life at any occupation, and this is even worse because his life was taken intentionally. His murderer should take a long fall on a short rope, but this is Canada, so the murderer will be made to appear as a victim.

It will be interesting to see who the suspect is. Seems he stole a car from a dealership while begining a test drive. Then had it back within sight of the dealership the next day. Not exactly rational?

Terrible waste and tragedy.

"The suspect then stepped out of his vehicle with a shotgun, and began firing at the caller and other witness" Does the media ever get it right?

This killer should not be around for Dec,1. There's no doubt he is guilty. none.

Suspect stole the car over the weekend, put Alberta plates on it, then on Monday stops at the Quizno's for lunch, a block away from dealership, he stole it from.

RIP Const John Davidson.

A community mourns your ultimate sacrifice.
