Default Anyone else colour blind?

Just wondered how many others out there who fly fish are colour blind. Have you found ways of dealing with not being able to determine the colour of the hatches happening or the colour of the flies in your boxes?

I have often wondered about the importance of colour in relation to attracting fish.
It seems to me that the fish are looking up from the depths of whatever lake or stream and in the case of dry flies are seeing nothing more than a profile of the bug on the water. Against a bright sky they would be unable to differentiate colours.
As far as nymph patterns are concerned, it's hard to say, but in murky or coloured water, I doubt colours would be visible to the fish.
Just my opinion.

Ask guys who have boxes full of different colored chironomids if they think fish can tell the difference.

Colour matters !!!!!!

And thats why some flies have just a hint of a certain colour.

And colour is very dominant in salmon fishing too

Yes apparently the ones i ordered are on backorder as well. 2-4 weeks it says. Oh well, I've waited 42 years so far for them so a few weeks more I can probably deal with.
