Default Bamboo Fly Fishing Rod

Hi
Does anyone know where you can find the value of an old bamboo fly fishing rod. It is a 3 piece rod and I believe the maker might be Allen. It has a Heddon 320 reel on it as well

I picked up at yard sale, but not sure if I got a deal or not

Any information would be great. Rod is in mint condition

Default Have some fun

It is probably not worth much so go ahead and fish with it. Bamboo rods are quite different from modern rods and you may find you like it. I suggest something other than a weight forward line. A Rio Trout LT might be good. Take it to a fly shop with some old guys working there to help you line it up.

There are a few of us bamboo rod users on this forum that could help you out. You can also try the Classic Bamboo Fly Rod Forum (just google it) they have an appraisal section.
