That hen could be part anything as she was raised the same way. I ain't sure where the black one came from but I guess there must be one in the woodpile somewhere.
Yep they is cute and will help keep us in eggs for another year or so.

Great pic.
Thanks for sharing. Brings back a lot of good memories. I miss raising them and the kids playing with them.

Did u incubate em or have the hen do the work we have some layers An looking at trying to raise our own. Chicks

They are definitely part of the family. I have great memory's of bird raising as well.
