Default Amazon Deal Advice Pls

Good morning to all the wonderful experts in political debate on this, the AO General Discussion. I now present for you sage advice in a matter much smaller, but hopefully not beneath your great perusal.
Having posted a WTS add for some photographic equipment on Amazon I received the usual requests for shipping to various worldwide destinations with PayPal for payment. To which I responded with a strong NEVER!
Anyways, now I got another of what I thought initially was one of those. However this person is only requesting shipment to Regina,SK. And is willing to do EMT instead of PayPal. As far as I know this would be safe, but are there risks here that I'm not realizing?

If he sends the EMT and you receive it, there is no way for him to go back and file a claim like with PayPal. Should be safe, but others can chime in if they have different info or experiences.

Yup as long as you've accepted the emt it can't be reversed. Just don't ship until the money is in yuppie hand. You could always do cod and use the post office to collect your money

If you are not ready to accept electronic forms of payment why would you post it on an international site?

Not trying to be asinine - just curious. I quite often miss the obvious.

I guess I don't really consider Kijiji Edmonton area category to be international advertising

EMT is just like money in your hand.

Paypal.....only use that with legit big business.

Your 1st post states you listed it on Amazon. Now you’re saying kijiji, so which is it? or is this a second item now on kijiji?

I'd recommend EMT over paypal, once EMT has cleared its nearly impossible for the buyer to get his money returned. Paypal on the other hand favors the buyer over the seller.

Yeah I thought this was odd as well. Definitely not amazon.............who sells stuff on amazon as a private individual dealing directly by email? Doesn't happen.

To be clear it is Kijiji not Amazon. (Not sure how I missed that)!

any phishing scam con artist can always send a fake emt link. If you end up with an error code change your bank password asap.
