Default CP Holiday Train...

Has anyone seen this train.....it stopped in Provost on the evening of Dec 7, gave a short musical performance and continued on westward. Never saw it myself but after seeing these pics I wish I would have. It travels from town to town, raising donations for the towns food banks. Been operating for 17 years now....I've never even heard of it !!

Yep. I caught it with the family in Blackfalds when it came thru. Definitely good free fun for the family.

Scene it a few times. Stopped in south Calgary. Entertaining and neat for the kids.

It just rolled passed me on hwy 3 between fernie and sparwood about two hours ago. Dense fog - I didn't know what the heck it was until it was streaming by. I was too busy to snap a pic of course.

Saw it roll by when I was heading up Ray Gibbon one night almost two weeks ago - Had no clue what it was about... Very cool!

I originally thought someone had just decorated the Happy Honker...

I have seen the train 3 times when it stopped at Josephburg. The first time 4000 people turned out to view it.

The schedule is at this site.

A ton of fun for the kids. We used to catch the show in Millet when we lived there
