Default Broken ice flows

Ice flows just broke in the surrounding area of Calgary leaving caribou stranded and now people are pummelling them with timbits.

Dam global warming.

Fly in that ointment is the volcanic nature of the country, real Greenhouse gas emitters in the grand scheme of things.

Yet a lot of that large scale volcanic activity that spews ash into the atmosphere creates cooling, the ash acts as a shield and assists in cooling. I see it as cancelling itself out. The cooling I am talking about is just like a nuclear winter.

This man nailed it - exactly whats going on. Cheers!

No, because burning coal doesn't put out a cloud with high albedo.

Heat and light are both different types of energy. Light energy can be converted into heat energy. A black object absorbs all wavelengths of light and converts them into heat, so the object gets warm. A white object reflects all wavelengths of light, so the light is not converted into heat and the temperature of the object does not increase noticeably.

So what is going to happen to the "Manmade Climate Change" religionists when they find out every falsehood they believe in is false and they cannot in their best wet dreams "control" the planets climate. I think it is the height of delusion to think we can control or fix or even undo a living planet.

But carry on with the false religion. To everyones detriment.

Drhu pretty much summed it up. *ahem* smoke coming from volcanism isn't just CO2. Tons of particles of Si compounds really do reflect a ton of light, which is what I was talking about... Lmao

You boys do realise that good old fashioned clouds are the biggest heat traps on the planet right? Do we tax water?

Hydro energy! They increase water surface => evaporation => clouds! (Not by much compared to oceans, but it's OK). New tax!
