Can anyone comment on the fishing or campground at Petite Lake north of Hinton.....

Was out there about a month ago and there were quit s few bigger ones jumping would not bite tho.

Strange, I was out in June during a massive caddis hatch and not a single fish looking up. Didn't even see the smaller ones in their usual spots.

...since original post, i went out during the July long weekend. Had luck up and down the middle...nothing too big, but was enough to keep the kids going

Strange dont think my buddy and I had the same dream of them jumping by our boat that day. Maybe we were because I just asked him again if he saw what I posted and he said ya. Oh well maybe next time I'm dreaming I could at least catch one.

Never questioned what you guys saw out there. I just found it odd that when I was out in June there were no fish going after the hundreds of massive caddis swimming on the surface. I guess there must have been better feed subsurface at the time.
