Default Boatman patterns

Was down south today fishing for rainbow's, after an hour of no hits i tied on boatman on a intermediate sink line, wow the hits were violent, had to keep changing to higher tippett as they kept breaking the line, after many hits I figured it out to make sure there was an angle and some slack or spring in the line for a shock abosorber, great fun.

One year in Edmonton that was all you could catch trout on. One of the most underestimated flies in my opinion. One interesting thing is they will fly at points in their lives and dive bomb down into the water and try to get to the bottom before the trout get them.
