Default Willow creek

Usally take the kids up to racehorse to flywish with them (ages 5-10). I've never tried the upper willow creek area and just curious if it is worth taking my family up to that area. Not looking for any spots but just info in general

thanks

I've heard willow holds small rainbow trout in places below chain lakes, although have not attempted to fish it, and could only guess the flood affected this stream greatly. It's also known to have brookies in it in the Indian Graves area I believe

Rainbows, Cutts, Cutbows and Brookies. All I'll tell you about it is that it is part of the stewardship program. There are some decent fish in there but the day I did my supervised outing we cleaned out 140 or so Brookies and Rainbows.

fish it anywhere above pine coulee and you should get some fish. I've heard the section between chain lakes and PCR is best, and there's less bear danger there plus you won't run into stewardship license-ers

Last year when i went out just above pcr we saw a bear and found cougar tracks so its still a good idea to carry bearspray
