Default Holy Carp

Wow, that carp must have been a huge surprise. Congrats to the boy. Nice rainbow too. I assume he released the carp?

Both fish were released. That's the first Carp he has ever caught. The thing fought like a bass and came out of the water a couple times. That big tail sure gives it some power. Awesome fighting fish.

WOW a Carp that big out here! Last time I seen a Carp that big was in Kingston Ont. Was walking along the docks by the Fort on a tourist trip (many years ago) and they were huge, way bigger. OMG hope they do not get that big all over Alberta. Unfortunately we do have the water system to support them but our native spicies will be decimated cause they cannot contain them. In Ont. the water system goes forever throughout(does not seem to hurt in certain parts) That I know of. I MISS IT BIG TIME. MAYBE the mother of all MUSKIE can help.....

The Carp in Lake Summerside are stocked to control the algae and weeds. They do not reproduce in there.

Awesome Grass Carp! Still on my bucket list but wasn’t sure if they could be taken by angling.

It took your bait did it? Or did it get foul hooked?
