Default Rain or sun

I'm normally a fair weather fisherman but I'm planning a trip next weekend and just wondering if it's raining is it still worth going or will I just get wet and not have a very productive weekend? How many of you go out in the rain?

A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work. Rain or shine!

I've witnessed more hatches in light rain or drizzle than in bright sunshine.

Smile Re Weather

Depends on where you are going... the Bow to the east a rainy day will be better for hatches etc.... Cutties to the west its hard to beat a sunny day as they are more opportunistic and the water temps are cooler so more active fish Cheers Kilgore <'))>>><

The 2 best times to fish are when it's raining and when it ain't.

Walleye love overcast days

I have been lucky enough to go through a few insane "fishing events" the most memorable of which I have been very wet!!!

I've also seen some good hatches in the rain or just after it stops raining. The fish don't care if it's raining

Ya but the bugs might. It also changes water clarity on the surface so that's why I asked.
