I was just going to do a post about the rendevouz it was a blast and well run. The king trapper event is really turning into a crowd pleaser. Pretty hefty prize money. Trade show had a lot of booths. More trap supply folks it seemed. I'd say 300 folks at max. No politics they save that for AGM in Sept. a real relaxed weekend and a chance to meet up with some old friends.

Well moose, I got to admit, your daughter sure can skin a muskrat! Job well done and congratulations to her, that was very impressive. The entire event was well organized and one heck of a lot of fun. Next year it's supposed to take place in Peace River. If you didn't get a chance to attend this one, don't miss out on the next one, I know I won't.

Default Coyote Skinning

Marty Senneker was the fastest dog, with Travis in a close second. I am not sure of the time, but it was close to 5 minutes.

Thanks again for a great competition Gary!

It was great, Kudos to the Stettler area organizers, the ATA, the D.V. guys for the ultimate trappers, fur handlers and youth competitors. Also the trade fair, auction items and food were terrific and that Jackie always a pleasure.
We only met 1 new AOer Moose Maniac, congrats to your daughter, she did great in the muskrat skinning. Am looking forward to next year in Peace River.
Doug
