Default Louise Shockey

Sad to say that Louise Shockey has passed away. That will leave a huge void in the Shockey Family. Rest In Peace Louise and condolences to Jim and Family.

As many of you likely do, I follow Jim on Facebook. Their life together was one long love affair. Over too soon.

Same. His poignant posts at the end made my eyes misty. Hits close to home.

Yes, very sad for sure. He's going to feel lost for a while as we all do when someone close moves on. RIP Louise, RIP.

Wow. First I've heard.
That is so trendously sad. I feel for him and his family.
RIP Louise. Way too young.

Sad, sad, sad

Awww geezuz,
I spoke to him last year. My aunt was married into the family a long time ago and Jim and I were talking about his grandparents farm. My aunt and his Uncle lived on the old Shockey homestead just a mile away from Vanscoy. It was an awesome place and I played so much there. When I was only about 10 I flew down to visit and I remembered him coming by the farm and the family get together in Vanscoy. We were just talking about the old times. He was a tall dark haired fella and I was just a little kid.

He's a stand up guy and always was. A very dedicated husband and family man.
I feel pretty bad for him and the family right now...

Very sad indeed, I dont think I ever saw a picture where she wasnt smiling. I was surprised to see him in the Yukon while she was on her death bed but to each their own. Wish their family all the best.
