Default Sling Shot named Restricted

Hi all.

I have a old Sling-Shot I named "Restricted", was wondering if I could legally shoot it off the back deck of the house out in the country.

Don

PS: I wish I named it "Ok" as I'd think that it's Ok to shoot it, but having a "Restricted Sling-Shot might cause some kind of misinterpretation in the eyes of the law.

(Curse you! )I believe it all depends on who's picture your using as a target. It has to be aproved by the CFO. That's the law.( This should be interesting )

Default That's a good question

I think you should be OK, provided:
1. It isn't painted black.
2. You don't carry more than 5 projectiles in any one pocket.

if it's a tactical slingshot you will need an att and range membership to shoot it!

Remember that how it looks is directly proportional to how dangerous it is!

Default Sling shot should be okay

Just don't blow beans through a tube that would be a blowgun and those are prohibited

For sure you can't use a slingshot in a provincial park.
Found that out at cold lake

Wow, guess I should consider a name change for it.

It is the old wood unit with doctor approved surgical tube.
Been using small Pebbles and frozen horse chips that offer good ballistic coefficiency with no wind.

Just making sure as I'd hate too have the law drive 8 hours out of their way to say its not ok.

I'm all about saving us wasted tax dollars as its easier to get the correct information needed from this forum.

Don.

Really??? Darn! I guess I'm a criminal! My 10 year old boy and I do that with Tim Horton straws and napkins! Gonna have to keep it on the down-low or I'll be sharing a cell with him! Might be able to sneak our weapons in with us though and use them to take out the prison gaurds.

If your slingshot has folding wrist brace, ( the wrist thingie that goes up) it is a patrol slingshot and belongs only in the hands of a soldier or a cop.

OK you guys, Ha.

15 posts in this thread before high jacking . LOL.

Name change for thread now.

I have a blow-gun named "illegal" that I shot from my deck at the farm out side of Canada.
I'm Canadian by citizen ship, but practising this out side of country of origin.

I wished I'd of named my "blow gun" Ok in Canada" but it's to late now the illegal blow-gun has a name.

Can I get into trouble with the law if I'm in a different country.

Oh Boy, hope we don't have too change the name of this thread too many times. Ha

Don

After completing your restricted primitive weapons training, ??

if you can distinguish between a " sling-shot " and a " catapult " ???

then you may just be authorized to discharge such weapon ,,,,, ,

I have this slingshot however I don't have the flashlight or lazer sight on it. I was told it was from the ISIS Spec Op's team and only to be used by their highest trained goat riders.

If it says Morton then no you can't use it outside a range as it is a salt slingshot.

I'm gonna google snow mold and allergies to see what the heck is happening here.

Always good too have a laugh as it breaks up the monotony of low sun light and cold nights.

Some times ideas come across crazy, this is a good thing as it keeps us sharp and wize. Ha

Don.

Now did I just shoot my blow-gun out of my Sling-Shot or what. LOL

LOL. Always time too post when we're dealing with serious stuff in life that matters.

Information of Sling-Shot named "Restricted" and Macdonalds straw blow-gun called "Illegal" on private property are matters that need addressing.

The day could come when a group of 50 Grizzly Bears charge us and all we are allowed for protection is a cereal spoon.

Oh boy. Life is hard at times when limitations prevent us from having choices.

When I travelled to Australia I brought along my dad's old slingshot to hunt with. It was taken at the border and deemed restricted because it had a wrist brace built in. No joke.
