Default field and plant Gas Production Operators

looking for a career change. thinking of field or plant operating, GPO seems to be the course of choice. wondering if anyone has completed it and what to expect the final exams to be like?

Someone needs to clear the old PE/operating threads so we are not the first thing in google search when someone looks the subject up

Its not outdoor related...but resources and info are limited and to my knowledge there isn't an oilfield form to ask such questions. Just trying to find some answers. Its harder than you would think. Plus many people in this line of work are also outdoor enthusiasts.

The GPO courses were pretty straightforward and not too difficult 15 years ago when I took them via correspond nice through SAIT. Portions of the course were written by guys that operated at the same plant I was at, so much of the material related directly to what I was doing on a daily basis.
