I believe that! 8190 isn't a very stable product from my experience used it on a string but thats about it. X is a blended material of SK90 dyneema and Vectran. Vectran provides the stability.

High stretch rates are necessary on the unstable materials, 8125/8190 to get any usefulness out of them. Doing the same with a Vectran blended material will break it down prematurely. You want something that is naturally stable.

Yep. I think I'll order some made of x and throw these in the garbage. In the mean time I'll just put the old ones back on. Wish I would have given it a little more thought before I ordered them.
