Looks good, that barrel looks like its 40" long in the second pic. LOL!! 26''? Im a fan of Picatinny mounts too and 6mm's. Let us know how it shoots.

I have one Dasher and am going to do another. My first has a .272 neck and .050 freebore. I just got another reamer, this one with a .269 neck and .090 freebore. IMO they have great potential as they dominate the winners circles in the mid-range BR game (600yds) and are reputedly quite capable at 1000yds.
Henry did a couple of builds on TC Icon actions for me, and they were decent shooters. The Icon platform is a great choice.
I did my fireforming using the stepped neck, and jambed 'em .010 to be on the safe side. Unfortunately, I got my first brass a bit stretched as I went a bit too hot with my fireforming loads...My second set of brass worked out fine using 29gr of Varget behind a SMK 107.
Nice looking rifle. You will love it.

Thanks guys i will definitely post some pics once i get it out to the range and do some load data. Barrel is 28 inches long. I think it looks longer because the gun originally had a 20 inch barrel so the forend of the stock is a bit shorter than normal

Don't be surprised when your 10 shot break-in groups with fireforming loads all go under 1/2" at 100M Have you tried the feed from the magazine..as I am wondering about how the short case navigates forward from the single stack? Not having to tinker would be a bonus.

Took some more pics and added a scope. Just a comparison of the 338 lapua and the 6mm BR soon to be a dasher.

Are you using a hard jamb to control headsapce during fireforming - can't see the neck detail? Here is how mine look.
Left - parent 6BR
Second left - necked up with .257 button
Third left - top half necked back down to 6mm to create false shoulder
Right - After fireformed in dasher chamber

Im gonna be using a hard jam to fireform. I can't believe that little case will spit out 105gr bergers at 3000 fps its amazing

The 6BR case has got to be one of the more efficient cases. Neck it up to .30 cal (30BR) and it can launch a 115gr at 3000fps. Here is my 6BR family picture.
Left - 6BR parent
Center - 6 Dasher
Right - 30BR
