Yep you sure can. Call Corlane Gunsmiths in Dawson Creek they due some sweet work. I think they have about ten different colors.
They have teflon coated a couple for me and thier work is great.

The powder coating available from Corlanes is the most durable finish I've ever seen on a firearm. I have 2 rifles done this way, one in 'cast iron' and another in 'black'. You cant scratch the stuff off. They take the entire gun apart and do each peice individually. Im not an expert on these types of finish, but after owning 2, I want it on every rifle ill ever own.
Teflon is neat too, but it DOES chip off and is NOT durable.

Powder coats
I have had one of my rifles trflon coated in the custom flutes done by Corlanes. Other buddies since thn have had barrels powder coated.
Check out their website
http://www.rockymountainrifles.com
The website shows powdr coat colors.
With the tefon coating there may be issues, but on my Sako m75SS 300WM I bought from Corlanes in 1998, the teflon is still all there. And this rifle was my only hunting rifle till 2004. Its been thru it ALL!

Yeah, just to clarify what I said above, the Teflon finish is actually quite tough, but it can chip and scratch. We've all seen what happens when you use a metal spatula to make eggs in a Teflon frying pan... But, I've seen some guns done with it, that looked mint even after years of useage.
The powder coating, I've tried to scratch off with a metal nail and found it to be extremely durable.

this was just posted a couple threads ago,
i prefer teflon from the supplier in st albert. google for 'black cat coatings'
its real good and about $20 for two rifles..
a coating, no matter what kind, is only as good as the prep that its adhered too. this teflon barely comes off the vise grips i used to hold parts to blast it.

My teflon has held up well for me. My guns have not been babied and are still like the day I had them done.
My only concern with the powder coating is that if it does scatch you cant touch it up.(I had the a-arms on my 56 done and just had them re-done.)
I like the color options though and will probably have it done on my next rifle.
As a side note I have delt with Corlanes on a couple occations and would recomend thier work to anyone.

Roger - I don't think that DuraCoat is actually classified as a teflon coating. From what I've read, it is a two-part chemical coating that is much more durable than teflon.
I haven't used it yet but I plan to. All the reviews I have found are consistent with what Roger said - the coating is extremely durable and it is available in over 50 colours. So, if you're interested in saving some money and applying a coating yourself you can look into it. Black Cat Coatings is in St. Albert. You can buy DuraCoat from them, or I think they can apply it for you. They also do powder coating. You can request a quote on their website www.blackcatcoatings.ca
