Well every year i like to go out a week or so after sheep season has closed and look at laugh at the huge rams that appear out of thin air. This years was yesterday and wow it was nice out. We spotted this group of three on a high ridge and wow the one is a slob!!! The kind I drool over in my dreams. There is nothing better than seeing big rams make it through the season in a hard hunted area that look like this guy. The ram in the front of the trio was I think 5 or 6 years old and is going to be a monster one day.
After we had our fix of filming we figured time to find some more so we left them for the day. The rest of the day we found 6 more rams but nothing even close the the big guy. However I did find a waaaaay nicer muley than the one I shot a month ago
. We did also see a real nice lynx that posed nicely for a couple minutes of film and a pic or two. Great day to be in the hills and full of nice game.
