Going to take my kayak fishing on the NSR for the first time. I'm new at this. I was going to use an anchor to stay tight by some promising holes, but looking on various sites....I'm a little concerned about the safety of getting stuck on the rocks and the current swamping me. Any local advise on this topic? Should I or should I not bother with an anchor in the river?
