Talking Fishing on the bow this weekend

Out for a couple hours on Sunday landed this monster a 19" rainbow a hefty whitefish also broke off another big guy. I love this time of year on this river.

Sure is nice to be able to throw flies all winter long. The brown trout really need the stone fly hatch to put some weight back on. They look anorexic

I love fly fishing year round. I was out on Sunday and caught a few bows and a few whitefish. They were all decent size except for one rainbow that was a hog. Looking forward to this coming weekend and the +10 weather.

Expecting the river to be packed as usual on nice days on the weekend

I said that originally too, but his wording was just missing a comma.

I was going to say....

Anyhoo, I had no luck on Sunday. Only hooked into one fish, which I suspect was a small-ish rainbow, and that on a clouser. Nothing rising, in spite of the MASSIVE emergence of midges.
