Default Moose Lake outside Jasper

Well I tried to take the wife through Jasper today.
We stayed at Overlanders Lodge lastnite and took a drive
throughout the day. (most expensive meal Ive ever eaten...125 bucks with ZERO ALCOHOL)

I thought I was taking a big scenic tour of Jasper when infact I
was heading towards Mt Robson, home of a big white goat.
Sure enough, passed into BC and couldnt figure out wtf was going on.

Im an idiot, spare me please.........theres what, one main road through Jasper and I couldnt find it?

Anyways, we got out at Moose Lake along the road and noticed it was a decent size. It looks like a decent place to take a tiny boat into during the summer and camp.

Has anyone been? It could be 2 feet deep the entire way, I really have no clue and searching on google hasnt gotten me anywhere.

its big and is pretty deep. it has lakers, rainbows and kokanee. theres some decent spots to boat to and camp but the lake gets windy at times. fished it a few times in the summer. got about a 16" rainbow, lots of tiny kokanee and a bunch of lake trout. biggest laker was about 5-6 pounds. i have a hard time finding anything out about the lake too. i cant remember but i dont even think i found it in the regs.

The bulls are easier to find in the river the upper river and there is the moose river that dumps in just downstream of were you stop with the car go for a walk north about 1 1/2 kms to the cliff faces
