Default 1st Mule Buck In 10 Years

Been 10 years since I've shot a mule deer buck. He doesn't measure up to the ones posted here this year, which I've been drooling over, but I'm happy to have had the chance to take him.

When I shot him he was on the edge of a stubble field but he made it to the bottom of the coulee, very deep and steep. I recovered him in the creek that flowed through the bottom. It took every thing I had to get him out of that creek. This is the biggest bodied deer I've ever shot and I felt every ounce of weight he had.

He's floating in the creek. I was able to grab his tail and pull him to the bank where I could grab an antler and pull him up the bank.
